After moving to WordPress I've returned to blogger again. For what reason I won't say (: But I felt that I'm still somewhat attached to this old blog of mine and I shall come back to use it. So I've dao-ed it for the whole of February. This place used to be a place I visited every week. But I haven't been here for so long.

Today was CO Camp. Quite happy with it cos I got two servings of chicken rice XD but well the facilitating wasn't too tough a job and Shaun was an effective group leader to work with. But the activities are a bit limited due to the lack of time la. And not everything went according to plan. It could have been better if time was used more wisely for all events and facilitators weren't given the clues in an envelop but rather like last year's camp.

SYF rehearsal yesterday was quite bad. Seniors who came back said it was either a bronze or low silver standard. But well, its a rehearsal. It's meant to show us what the real thing is like. I think individually I did quite okay though. Jun Lem was a bit not steady at one time but after that it's ok. Roy arh Roy, jiayou. And I saw two other schools with full-dress rehearsing while we came in normal school uniform. That may have brought down our level of seriousness by a lot already.

I must mug Math Chem and SS over this week. Tests coming!

Instead of deleting this blog like I originally planned to, I've moved to a new blog, and also deleted the last 3 posts on this blog, as they were deemed "emo" by many. Perhaps I want a quieter environment for blogging, so I shall say goodbye. =)

It was a really close shave. I would never take things for granted again. Today taught me how scary being blind is, even for that short 2 minutes. I woke up with diarrhea, and a headache from yesterday had not recovered. When I was showering, 'stars' started to appear in front of me. Very soon, the stars started multiplying. I thought they would disappear if I kept still. But they just kept multiplying. I knew something was wrong. I shouted for my dad as hard as I could.

By the time he was by my side, I could no longer see. I was hysterical. I was losing my mind. I was scared. My dad immediately helped me to gua sha. Initially it didn't help at all. I was feeling hopeless. But soon after, my sight just regained suddenly, and slowly. It had just saved my life. Not only my eyes, my ears were also blocked out. My face was as white as a sheet of paper, according to my parents. I was rushed to hospital.

Blood pressure was low. Temperature was 34.7. I was having hypothermia. I shivered. It was cold. I was put to the ward to be examined and for rest. Very soon, my condition had stabilized and I went for a few scans including MRI. Apparently, I had missed Orientation Camp for an illness like this.

From today onwards, I must watch my health, build up my immunity, and get enough sleep. It is really not worth it to miss out important stuff for illnesses like this which could have been prevented in the first place. The frailness of life must be taken care of by our daily human activities.

Whatever it is, I am very very grateful to be able to sit here in front of my computer, with both eyes functioning perfectly well again. Once again, never take things for granted.

2009 is here and 2008 is gone. 2008 had been a very fruitful year, though full of setbacks, it has really been the turning point of my life. All the events, friends, and stuff that make this year a really wonderful year...I really hope to have them again this year. Concert was a very important milestone this year, and friendships from CO and 3J have grown even stronger.

CO at the start of the year had been quite plain. Sectionals were basically just jibengong. It was around a few months into the year when we started doing some interesting stuff. First we started learning Qin Wang Dian Bing, then we started practicing concert pieces. Sectionals during this time was very fun, with a vibrant percussion section. I still remember Denny friendly and Stanley manly. Patrick was SL then so much of the things he said during sectionals was about CO. However the trips to the MRT with Patrick and Zhaolin after prac were full of jokes and fun. The times percussion spent together practicing for concert pieces and Qin Wang Dian Bing was extremely memorable. Working together for a common goal. The excitement and anxiety shared by all during CNY performance and concert. Patrick had many plans for percussion, and it wasn't easy for him being an SL back then too. Shu Jian was a nice senior too, and he always gave us sweets =D

Academics of 2008 was quite good. I started becoming more and more serious in studies (more and more mugger), and I found myself reading bio notes on the bus and mrt...But all that paid off in the last APR of the year. It was the best ever GPA I had in my RI life, and a super big jump from 2007. I want this GPA this year too (: Perhaps even better! I must study hard for history. And physics! Ok nvm I must study hard for everything. Sec 4 is an important year! I need to lay a good foundation for JC.

Other new friends I made during 2008 has also made my life more wonderful. For now 2008 is over, and I can only work hard and hope for the best for 2009. Being an SL in an SYF year isn't an easy job. Studies are yet even more important too. I am just looking forward to the Sec 1 Orientation Camp on Monday, which will kick off my year 2009. Let's march on!

Anglican High School Concert: Many RICO people turned up, obviously cos 33% of each section is forced to go. 30% subsidy from RICO fund and LSH. I had dinner with Felix and Roy before the concert.

The concert started off with Kwang Yi's jokes (ahem). Their first song (the Da Gui one) turned out to be their choice piece, and they played it for encore. Other nice pieces they played include Feng Nian Ji, Yao Zu Wu Qu. They adapted "Cao Yuan Xiao Jie Mei" (dizi ensemble) and "Sai Ma" (erhu ensemble) into orchestra pieces, which confused Vincent and Felix for some time haha. They also played a Percussion piece "Di Si Hao Gu Yue (Drumming No. 4 for 6 Percussionists)". It shows a lot about their standards, although the song itself is mundane.

New Year Countdown tomorrow! I look forward to saying goodbye to this year, enriching as it has been, cos next year will be hopefully a much better year. Who's P btw?

CCO Concert yesterday. Everything seemed to past quite fast, from moving the instruments all the way to the end of the concert. I guess the most fun part of it all was perhaps being with the daji friends, playing cards, eating lunch, and talking and just talking. (: The food package is quite cute haha, and they even provided bread before that. Moving the instruments was a chore though, and the yunluo with one wheel broken has to be carried...its damn heavy! And clumsy me banged into some timpani while trying to move it up the stage. Gosh and I learnt about Zheng Chao Ji's habit of having to drink beer during every concert. Does he have to reach the so-called "jing jie" or something to conduct lol... Got quite owned at cards too, we played asshole taiti and I became asshole for two rounds sigh. Hmm i took a cab home and supposedly i can claim the fare from shangyin.

I have been watching so many movies over the past few days, and so many Jackie Chan movies too. From like 11 years ago even...Heart of Dragon, Accidental Spy. Gosh I cant list all of them. I even watched Madagascar and Cape No. 7. But the stupid CD spoilt at the ending of Cape No. 7 LOL and I couldnt watch the ending. -.- It's a nice show (:

Someone tell me what happened to the two of them in the end haha.

Merry Christmas to all! And a Happy New Year to the start of school 6 days later.

Christmas was spent starting with a game of bridge at Kenneth's house. I was originally supposed to be there to visit him as he had injured his leg, but we ended up playing bridge. -.- Hong Bo and Chun Yin were there too, along with Kenneth's Vietnamese friend whom I mistook for his sister. I left when they decided to start watching a movie for Shaw House, to watch a movie too with Li Yu and his brother. Ting Wei pang-seh us. Hmm we stoned around for a while and watched Twilight! Hmm its quite a good movie la, but the ending is a bit...=.= Quite romantic but quite bland too. But its worth the money I guess. The theatre had quite a small screen.

Next we 3 went around Orchard to look at the Christmas decorations, like many other Singaporeans who have only Orchard to come to during Christmas...

Then we went walking around Orchard, looking for a place to eat. At first we were at Pepper Lunch but we decided to look again because there were too many people and it was a bit expensive...then after walking around Orchard for an HOUR we settled with another branch of Pepper Lunch. =.= And I forgot to turn my steak around to cook until Li Yu reminded me...So I ate it a bit raw. Okay no stomachache so far so should be fine. (:

Just now went to collect blazers for tomorrow's CCO concert. Not nervous.

Ting Wei, Li Yu and me went to Changi Airport Terminal 3 today after Sec 1 Registration! It was a last minute idea and Du Yan pang-seh-ed us, since he lives in Boon Lay. We first went to the drawing thing in Terminal 3 and spent like half an hour there, colouring different patterns and trying to make out our own name!

Then after that we took a walk around Terminal 3. Although each of us had been there before, but it was really quite impressive that we didn't mind seeing it another time. Shops there sold stuff without GST so things were cheaper. We bought Toblerone each, with 3 different flavours. I bought the milk, Li Yu bought the dark chocolate, while Ting Wei bought the original one. After that me shared them around...Li Yu and Ting Wei both agreed that the milk one I bought was the most fattening one -.-

Next we went to take a look around Crowne Plaza, and we got chased out of the place cos we attempted to play cards...=/ In the end we found an empty piece of land somewhere and played 2 games of daidi. Ting Wei became the "king" twice in a row, and Li Yu the converse :D. Then we went home.

Three of us are planning for a Taiwan trip next year December. See how it goes!

NAC Finals: Hmm went for the NAC finals yesterday. The results were rather unexpected, as most people put it:

Percussion
1st: Symphonic Percussion
2nd: Nanyang (YQP)
3rd: GECO
Hmm Nanyang played a shortened version of qinwangdianbing, and I guess they weren't very used to playing that version bah. We had been expecting GE to win though..

Ensemble
1st: Whoampa Community Club
2nd: Conbrio (3rd grp from GECO)
3rd: Toa Payoh West CC (2nd group from GECO)

So GECO took up 2 of the 3 positions but didnt get first. Aii feel sad for BHCE. :/
Anyway, congrats to Nina who also won 3rd for youth category!
Hmm and thanks to Nina too for the ticket to the prizewinner's concert, although I must say Klaxton has spend some hard money on it. -.- The little zhongruan girl was so cute haha! The prizegiving ceremony after the intermission was rather boring except for the part they announced the results of course.

Dazu earlier in the morning was quite good. zhaolin and jiawei are getting it fast. (: and the timp and dagu sound nice when coordinated.

Went for CCO prac today. Hmm I was given 4 parts out of 15 songs they are playing. I think the last concert the songs were more fun and this concert the songs are quite short. haha and zheng chao ji has a very weird way of conducting which i must get used to. next week prac is at tanjong rhu or smth, and i have no idea how to get there. D: counting on hongbo.

Look at the picture above--Do you see a dustbin there? If you do, then you've been fooled by many others alike, including RICO chairman Sng Zheng. The dustbin's painted.

Friends from Penang Chung Ling Interaction 2008. They're friendly people and we had fun playing games and ice-breakers during the interaction, which was combined Percussion and Sheng/Suona. (: They are also quite pro haha. We tried playing Long Teng with them. (: Moving instruments was the biggest headache of the day though. I had to move 2 dagus from RI hall to RJCO room myself and the wheels were like in what condition loh. The dagus toppled at least 4 times on the journey. Patrick had to move the biggest Timpani by himself too--the one with no wheels. Zhaolin had one timpani to himself too. Poor Percussion! (alliteration again)

After that Felix, Kailun, Kah Khang, someone else (I forgot who rarh) and me had a free lift from RI to Bishan MRT in Kaze's Mitsubishi, which was also employed for moving instruments earlier in the day. Thanks again to Kaze, whom I owe a lunch treat to.

To Wenyun: Why CHAM! It's an honour to be in the same house as me loh please :D

To Nina: Both 'other friends' and 'RGCO' would be too small categories by themselves. (:

When will all Singapore MRT trains have this cool gadget? The lights are very cool and it is informative of what stop you are at too. So far this is the first train I have seen with this thing.

I have decided against abandoning this blog. So I shall post.

November 25th: HK interaction with RICO (: It was one day after I touched down from Shenzhen. The HK ppl came very well-prepared with their presentations on HK and their English is relatively good. We showed them around the school, Yilin, Rui Jun, Chang Cheng and me in one group. I managed to fool someone that i could speak cantonese. :D Makes me wanna go HK DD: haha the girls there were nice too XD

Next up, Hwa Chong CO Interaction. It was a last minute signup and a last minute planned performance of Qinwang Dianbing. Nina and Sng Zheng helped me play the big and small cymbals respectively (the big person play small cymbals while the small person play big cymbals). Well, what happened for the performance only some people know so go find out if you're interested. There were lots of people there and a lot of fun games, and Zhaolin came late for it. There was captain's ball with ORANGES and a cake of SOAP!! wthh loh. and water bombs, which caused my handphone to go cuckoo for a few days. Hmm yeah and saw yunan (:. RICO only 3 ppl go loh, and technically speaking only 2 cos zhaolin came when sng zheng left haha. Made some friends like Wing Yee, Jessy and Hui Pin.

Hsing Hai Concert: Went after being persuaded by Wen Yun. But it turned out to be quite boring, cos lots of the singing by this shanghai singer called Jia Fang Qiong. She can sing damn high but yeah cos its all old old songs so quite boring. Even wenyun says she got bored performing. -.- Jie min was there too-for drum set. Not bad me and patrick helped move instruments after the concert. Then had supper with Nina and Patrick at Mos Burger. I paid first expecting to be paid back but nothing ever came back to me. Yup so its a treat.

NAC Prelims: the combined performances were boring (cos i am biased -.-) and the perc ensembles after that were fascinating! i got to watch nanyang's qinwangdianbing one more time, which inspired me to go learn the original version of QWDB, which i have done so today. (: after watching their rehearsal video 10 times over yesterday night. other intriguing pieces like yazi banzui (some duck and mouth thing), etc. going for the finals!

OIP Shenzhen 2008. It has come to an end. To sum up, this trip has been a fascinating one, with ups and downs throughout. I have learnt to appreciate the things I have, instead of looking at things I don't, and learnt to appreciate those around me. This trip has brought me new friendships, both with my local friends and foreign friends. I also learnt a lot about the ways of the Shenzhen people, and widened my horizons. It has also brought out a more serious side in me. For the first two nights, we stayed at a hotel, unlike the Foreign Language School people who had homestay immediately. The hotel had written a welcome message for us lol:

For the first few days, we visited big enterprises in Shenzhen, like BYD (car maker), Huawei (telecommunications manufacturer), and a nuclear power station. Huawei showcased many of its cutting-edge products, and even Singtel uses its mobile broadband tools.

We also visited the Shenzhen University and took a group photo there. Shenzhen University is damn big, such that it can be a small town itself, with lakes, roads, shops, etc.

Other sight-seeing areas include the mangrove and the "Hai Shang Shi Jie":

So sight-seeing took up the bulk of the first week. By Wednesday, we had already started living at our homestay partner's houses. Me and Kenneth Siah were lucky to have had partners who lived close to each other. We first took a cab home as Kenneth's cello was impossible to carry about on public transport. The homestay parents were nice, and provided me all that I needed during my stay. Three meals were a bit large in serving size though, but I still finished every meal.

We had interaction with some of the Senior High School students, and we did some ice breakers and introductions, such as throwing the paper airplane thing (organized smoothly by Martin XD). We also attended some lessons at the Junior High School. A photo taken with an acquaintance, Zirui:

Then came the first weekend. The weekend was spent at a theme park called "Happy Valley", or Huan Le Gu in Chinese. It was extremely crowded and we had to queue like 2 hours to sit a 15-minute ride, so we didn't get to play much :/, but at least we tried the 360-turn roller coaster :D.

Sunday was spent at Lian Hua Mountain, where there is a statue of Deng Xiaoping, and a paranomic nightview of Shenzhen, which is damn nice!

Following the next week, we joined our partners for lessons for 3 days. Their lessons are different from ours, such as having mass lectures for Maths (although we do have such lessons time to time), and subjects like Politics, and learning Humanities as a separate subject. The classmates are fun and easy to talk to, and I can see that they are very interested about Singapore. (:

On Thursday, we went to teach English to the primary school students in Shenzhen Primary School. The day before and in the morning, we had spent tremendous effort copying out the cards and drawing pictures of them to show their meaning. And yes, our High School Musical dance was used up for the primary school kids lol. We taught them words from the song, and the P6 students seemed to absorb better than the P5s. Me and Zhi Yuan formed a pair to teach 5 primary school kids.

Friday was free time. Kenneth, Hong Bo, Wesley, Mervyn, Kah Khang, Samuel and me went to Window of the World. It is a tourist attraction where they have monuments and famous buildings and structures from all over the world, just that they are smaller in scale. Me and Kenneth Siah spammed photos, and climbed into some of the structures (we're not supposed to :D)

Window of the World was one of the most fun places I've been to in the whole OIP, even more fun than Happy Valley. I wonder who came up with such an ingenious idea man :D.

For Saturday we joined a leadership camp the so-called "GEP" students where having. One most memorable activity was the mute guy-and-blind guy activity. In pairs, one mute guy had to lead one blind guy around the school without talking, crossing several obstacles, climbing through holes, jumping down high steps, walking on a narrow ledge, etc. I was the mute guy while Wei Han was the blind guy. I led him around the school and in the end we succeeded in our tough journey :X Wei Han was very nervous and took every step slowly and small. Hmm Wei Han didn't know it was me until I told him after the activity... LOL. Anyway it was damn fun and I wish RI would have some activity like this too. Next time I wanna be the blind guy. Sunday was stoning day. I slept and stoned for the entire morning and noon. For afternoon Kenneth and I went to some park to have a walk with our homestay families. We walked for some time and yup, it was a good cool down for the whole trip. We had hotpot and went home to pack for the next day.

Monday, also today. We all gathered in school and took a final group photo. It was a bit nostalgic, especially after being hosted so warmly by our homestay families, and I guess they would be missing us just as much as we miss them. I really look forward to seeing them next year again. (:

Other takeaways from this trip include learning how to play bridge and hearts. Well, on the return flight most of the time was spent playing bridge. Every overseas immersion trip has taught me one new game haha. It's always like that. Last year was mahjong lol. I hope to be selected as a student facilitator for another OIP next year. (:

My OIP to Shenzhen is tomorrow, and I have to reach the airport at 4.30am! Even when the flight's only at 7! ): I guess I shall sleep my way through the flight :D

Hmm surprisingly I only started packing this morning and I finished in an hour! Efficient as I am (:. I am bringing my laptop too, for SMP registration, so the rest are bound to be fighting over the use of it haha! I bought merlion for the host :D

Last Friday there was CO BBQ at Chun Yin's house! Initially it was meant for only Sec 4s but somehow a lot of Sec 3s and Sec2s appeared. There were many attempts to start up the fire and in the end it did succeed, after so many tries :/ Sng Zheng, Dong Heng, etc were playing cards while Kenneth Siah, Ben Aw, Kailun and me were playing monopoly after that. :D And we still went gym at like 10pm! HAHA(: Oh and there was a failed attempt to dunk Ren Yan (who extorted 10 dollars from me!!) Kenneth Siah quite nice haha let me shower in his house and lend me clothes somemore :D

RICO and RJCO are splitting up instruments. In no time do expect to see two sets of Timpani, xylophone, etc around. (: Good luck storing all the stuff man. Last Saturday Kweky, Bing Liang, Yiu Sum, Patrick and me were sorting out all the daji instruments. HAHA and kweky and me were fighting over instruments. Bing Liang found a missing biangu in a (hole?) in the CO storeroom =.= after that we had lunch and i went "shopping" with BL for VCDS :D Umm yes and thanks Bing Liang, Kweky, and Yiu Sum for coming down to help(:.

Haha and today I went for Nick Vujicic's talk at the Expo with Kezia. The talk was inspirational, and there are a few quotes I cannot forget. Like "Less = More". It's really true depending on how one looks at things. And I've decided to believe in Christ after the talk. (: Thanks Kezia for everything!

Thanks to Patrick too for agreeing to come down for prac when I'm gone next week (: Roy must make use of this chance and learn as much as possible, from the Pro Patrick. ((: And yes, anything related to Perc, look for Patrick while I'm away. Ok I am so excited for my trip to Shenzhen((((: i must sleep early to wake up at 3 plus. I'll be back on the 24th, see you all!

Rolling Walnut (Gun He Tao)

RICO Percussion has embarked on a new journey learning Rolling Walnut, and putting Qinwang Dianbing aside until further notice. Hmm it saddens me not to touch QWDB for so long, but I guess we all have to move on. CNY is coming and linlaoshi wants a new piece.

Haiz went for eye checkup today. My eye has been hurting for the past few days. Doctor says its sensitive eyes and gave me eye cream which i dont even know how to apply! anyway its already the hols and i just realised that i wont be seeing my friends until next year. intensive CO prac will start on 6th (: Looking forward to RISC outing this saturday!

Never had such a good game of basketball for very very long time. Everytime I go to the court it is always deserted. But today, there were like 7 people around so we played 4-4. Haha at first losing already but Julian scored two 3-pointers and brought us back on track. But the imba tall guy still won us in the end. :/

Haha ok, now I've shortlisted a few pieces for percussion: Rolling Walnut, Lao Hu Mo Ya, Chong Tian Pao. Most likely going to start on Lao Hu Mo Ya because Kweky has the scores. (: But Miss Ng has Rolling Walnut scores too, so we could try both. Yay I am damn excited because we are finally doing something new. Tomorrow I will be receiving scores for the SYF set piece, and on Monday can start learning a new percussion piece! (: Plus just got the Technology scores. Technology is cool! But unfortunately RICO percussion will never be able to play it. I got tricked by the snare drum scores haha, because it actually can be simplified into semi-quavers. -.- OH and Zhaolin thank you so much for losing your cymbal scores. I spent an hour writing them out today! ):

OIP is coming in a week and I am so unprepared. Mentally and practically. With so much stuff going on back here, it seems inappropriate to just leave and abandon everything. For two weeks! I have already missed a lot because of OIP, and I don't want to miss more. )): Plus my OIP team not even familiar with dance movements, etc yet. Seven more days and I would be on the plane to Shenzhen. (: With Kenneth Siah and Hong Bo HAHA. The 2 (ex) RICO SLs.

I don't really know what is becoming of my life. ): Well I guess maybe that doesn't really matter does it? Let me just go on playing my part in this world, and life shall go on. (:

Got back three subjects' EOY papers today! And surprisingly, all three papers met/exceeded my expectations. I got 116.5/120 for Math, subject to the boo-ing of my many classmates D: Chinese was 88/110, which is a perfect 4.0. (: Considering how badly I screwed up the last CCT this is perhaps a great improvement. And of course, English! (: I got 24/30 for the commentary, which is also a 4.0! :D How many times do you see a 4.0 for English in a lifetime? But of course, the main compre pulled me back down to 3.6, which isn't bad either! ^^

Quite a few things have been happening recently. First, Zuohao has finally set up his blog, as promised after the EOYs, but the blogskin has yet to change. (: Wow, its the first time I see someone from 3J actually setting up a blog. Congrats and hope to see it going! Waiting for Yihang's blog now haha.

Hmm Ms Lim has asked for a new piece for Percussion to play for next year's EOYs, and I am damn excited about it. After being stuck with qin wang dian bing for soo long, its finally time to start a new piece haha. Anyone has any ideas what pieces we can play? I am soon getting Technology scores and I shall explore the chances of RICO Perc. playing it. (: If we can play that piece I call it a breakthrough.

I am going to apply for TLL transfer, to Wan Jing's class. (: I'm so sorry Mrs. Lim! But I really want a new environment, and be in a more work-oriented class.

Many things in life need to be experienced before we can learn from them. I really must learn from the tough lessons that fate has taught me over the days, and I shall work on my resilience, because I realise that life suffers from a domino effect. Sometimes, being frank with people does help, but sometimes, words play the role of the most destructive weapon available.

Today is the first dazu after so long (: surprisingly after never prac-ing for so long i can still play haha : D was a bit rusty though :/

Anyway patrick crashed practice today! lol it was break when i saw him come in. zhaolin's comment on that was damn ownage (: for good reasons i shant post it here. he came in and gave me this stack of damn thick scores. i was just sorting them out...A LOT OF THINGS. i saw scores for some quite old songs (which are mostly handwritten and in chinese notation) and some really random stuff! HAHA i found QINWANGDIANBING SCORES. zz. then there was stuff like chuandeng, wentian, etc. quite fun playing around with those scores.

Other stuff i saw include: plain A4 paper, maths RA worksheets, coloured paper, CONSENT FORMS (we all know what that means), maths workings, etc! ZZ! patrick...i know you mix up CO with school work lol. OH and one more thing! a piece of paper percussion used during a section meeting earlier this year. I remember what it was like...patrick sitting at the front, the rest of us around him in a circle in the RJCO storeroom, discussing plans and problems. haha and it had my handwriting on it! haiz. nonchalant! i miss those days when patrick was still around. haiz!!

Thanks zhaolin for taking up the dagu part courageously ;D haha i really wanna play the dagu for she ri... but timpani needs someone to play. haha conductor was rather shocked to see patrick playing the dagu though! ((: if only those good old days were back, right?

Haha omg i have been going out almost everyday for the past few days. post-EOY high! haha. anyway yesterday we went east coast and cycled =D it was really a good chance for me to vent some frustrations haha ((: and OIP training in the morning was rather....:/

Hmm anyway. Thank you a lot for your encouragement that day when i was feeling really down. I hope you get to read this but nvm (:.

i think the post-EOYs are coming all too sudden. A lot of things are messing up, and things dont just seem right these few days. bad things are coupled as they approach me. what can i do? just have to solve them one by one. sometimes, i dont even know what to say!

The EOYs are finally over!! ((: Today was the last paper bio-everything went well. Haha no talking about exams anymore. No more! For my those still having MEP tomorrow, hang in there! We'll be on par in no time haha. Anyway today went to Tingwei's house with Zhengda and I must say that it has been the happiest day in so many months.

First we took a bus from Bishan to Ting Wei's house. The moment we alighted it started to rain heavily (??!!) I shared my umbrella with Zhengda and Ting Wei had one to himself (rarh). And by the time we walked out of the shelter, we were already half drenched! our pants were like...so draggy and it was so cold! :X Next up we dried ourselves up when we reached his house and watched a Japanese mystery show :D

After that was lunch. haha ate xiao guo mian as usual, for those who know me well. then we all went to kallang beach, with the initial purpose of finding hermit crabs! haha was damn excited at first, but due to high tide there was none =(. in the end we took some photos and picked seashells lol =.= beloiw shows me, tw, and zhengda haha.

Then it was yet another movie at ting wei's house. The Spiderwick Chronicles! Haha it was really a good movie, and it was fun watching it in his house, with his wide LCD screen lol. after the movie was basketball at the court. (EOYs took away at least half my skills already) Zhengda was rather tyco today lol! he chop a few times, including one 3 pointer... Haha then we went for a 3km run around kallang! oh man i realised that not exercising for so many weeks has degraded my body stamina. the 3km run left me almost breathless haiz. must train up again!

Anyway, thanks a lot to both Zhengda and Tingwei for the memorable day which i will never forget! (: And more fun is awaited when the gang of 3J gets liberated from MEPs! and CO starting on wednesday hahahahaha. feeling high today nvm. :D

Physics........ one word- Screwed. Every other EOY paper had been smooth. But physics screwed up. Screwed. I am going to get at least 2 to 3 MCQs wrong, one structured question part a (2 marks?), one strucutred question part a (2 marks?) and another strucutred question part a which I LEFT BLANK. (1 mark?) Haiz. I have never ever left anything blank on an exam paper in my whole life. never. I need to get at least 69/80 for this physics paper to get an overall 4.0!! thats only 11 marks' grace. minus away the 8 confirmed marks, i only have 3 to spare. oh please, i badly want the 4.0!!!!! 4.0!!!!! and a stupid stomach ache halfway had taken off 5 minutes from my time. time is precious.

Anyway i shall stop dwelling over the past. I still have one more paper to take on monday--Bio. I promise myself, i will mug bio day and night over this weekend. I will think about bio all the time, in the toilet, in my dreams, on the MRT. I will own bio. Will. Liwei, Tingwei, and Liangwei will own bio =). JUST ONE MORE SUBJECT TO FREEDOM! Sighs. End of English and SS paper. Haha I feel like half the stress is gone already! Cos EL and SS are my worst subjects. Over this weekend I am going to mug like crazy. Chem, Maths, Physics here i come! I have the next weekend for bio. I feel so energized, and prepared!

RE congress was fun. (: Ask Ting Wei/Zuohao, etc what we did lol. Damn ownage. Oh, ask Li Yu also can. Hahah.

PSL allocations are out, I am not a class-based PSL. Some "Orientation Package" committee or something like that. Haha oh wells, there is Kwek Wei Han, Patrick Ang, Dominic Lo, etc in the committee, and Clement Kweh is my IC. Hahah like that also good luh, don't need to go and revise all the cheers again.

Slept early last night despite a 2-hour nap in the day, and naturally i woke up rather early today. Saturdays without Dazus are so so so empty! ): I have been mugging math since i woke up until now when i decided to pay Blogger.com a visit. EOYs are coming in 6 days and I am slightly behind schedule. My 2 inch thick stack of Math notes are taking longer than expected to conquer.

My N81 is finally ready for collection. Gotta go down and collect. I heard they erased my phone memory...zzz. Have to copy all contacts back again. Lucky got back up. Muahaha and today I can finally return to my Saturday class, which has exclusive movies and jokes! =) so happy man. The sun is shining now, and I really wanna go out and have a game of basketball. Stupid EOYs. I haven't touched my basketball for 2 weeks. Zzz. I haven't touched a drum for even longer. ): ): Ok ok i shall stop emoing and continue mugging maths.

DMP has ended. ): From tomorrow onwards, have to start mundane school life and go to school early everyday, with no free periods anymore. Besides, it would be the end of lessons with nice teachers, and nice friends. Sigh. My mugging has gone one round already, I am gonna start my second round, more intensively, hopefully today.

Anyway today we were in Bio DMP, and we disected frogs. At first I thought frogs referred to those small frogs around the size of a clenched fist. But, no, I was mistaken. They were HUGE frogs, frogs as big as my palm. The smell of blood filled the lab as we walked in. Mrs Lim kept spraying air freshener =.= It was gross at first, I didn't even dare to touch the frog...But in the end I got sorta used to the frog. We cut open the skin first, then the muscles, and then took out the organs one by one...OH and I mistook the faeces for the kidney! ):

Life without CO is boring enough and now there's not even DMP. Only mugging for exams. People are not coming online but mugging away...Sian. End this crap soon bah. Lol I was supposed to mug Physics today but end up procrastinating until it wasn't touched at all until 5 minutes ago! And now I am at blogger.com again. (: Hmm today was a rather emo day for me.

First Zhaolin had 3rd Lang. oral so I had to go home myself. =( Hmm and OIP results were announced today. I happened to be posted to Malaysia! Ahh I wanna go Vietnam! Ting Wei, Zhaolin, etc are all going to Vietnam. Malaysia go dunno how many times already liao. I wanna go Vietnam...or better still Korea!! Can't help it. RI management claims its random allocation. Let's hope so. Heh and Yuen Hyung who's a Korean himself is going to Korea! Hey then I wanna go Taiwan!

Hmm today was supposed to go mug in Bishan library with Patrick at first, but there were no seats there at Patrick's table =( so I went off first. And met Du Yan in the MRT. We exchanged opinions on the OIP allocations- he got Thailand. Yes, and I would rather go to Thailiand too.

DMP was rather moderate today. Nanotechnology was held in the classroom so no fun lab stuff done today. Haha but we had quite an interesting class discussion. My group (Patrick, Zuohao, and me) got the topic on "nano-labels", which is basically the idea of putting nano-sized barcodes into manufactured products and FOOD we eat, to track sales, etc. Haha then I gave a random example of the Rolex watch! And teacher say its a good example! : D Hmm and I am damn excited for the next Bio DMP lesson, coz we're gonna cut up a frog! yes, disect a frog! (: haha its gonna be damn fun man. Today we cut up flowers instead. Only had two periods today, what a slack day =)

Hmm school aside I am looking forward to this sunday's extra practice with my new perc instructor. Will I get suaned by the people over there, or get a chance to suan them instead? Half way into EOY mugging already! Finished Bio, Chem, Math and Chi. Left Physics, SS and EL!! Hmm DMP seems to be a good atmosphere to mug in. I can't imagine having to mug with the influx of so much homework piling onto me!

Yesterday I got into my crazy "CO mode" again. Instead of mugging Chem like I should, I was whacking my bed like a drum, playing the qinwang dianbing solo =.=. i just can't live without CO can I? Yay and our new instructor is offering extra practice this sunday too, and it is a good chance to prevent my skills from rusting!

The previous week has been a rather fun one. DMP classes with Zhaolin and Patrick made me look forward to each day haha. With Zhaolin, you will never fail to laugh, and with Patrick you will always get a chance to suan him (and get suaned by him too!) lol! Nanotechnology was fun and other DMPs were all quite slack. My history DMP is getting more and more fun, as we learnt about North Korean propaganda, etc today. I didnt know they were such a closed-door nation until today!

Wow I am so proud of myself, managed to refrain from blogging for one week! Haha what's the big deal right? It's just that my life is too boring.

Alright. My term as SL has officially kicked off, and I am getting the hang of it all already. Having to conduct practice, shout louder than the percussion instruments (!!) and account for scores and people no longer seems intimidating haha (: My first time leading in Qinwang on Wednesday went well too! Why didn't I play like that for concert huh! Although Lexus commented that I had that constipated look on my face while playing solo lol!

Anyway the new instructor for perc finally came! Haha did the CO fund suddenly expand or what?? I tot she wasn't gonna come until CO could cough up some money. Anyway it's a SHE. Miss Ng. Haha she's very very different from Mr Ngoh...and she's damn strict! Quite young too. Haha she had a long talk with me outside RJCO room during dazu yesterday =.= and first day only she gave me work to do!

Alright alright I really gotta get started on EOY mugging. Progress is damn slow I am damn scared. I dunno why my Math suddenly lost that forcefulness liao. ): I must get it back before EOYs bump into me! My whole-day-mugging Math today didn't turn out well. I digressed and procrastinated so so so much.

Tomorrow's DMP! Not a lot of free periods compared to other people ): Doesn't matter I can still mug and I better MUG. In fact I shouldn't even be wasting time blogging.

First dazu as an SL today! It's also the first dazu that Patrick didn't come...

Yeah initially I was feeling rather lost. The feeling of having to account for EVERYTHING in percussion, in the absence of Patrick.

But as dazu progressed, I realised that things weren't that bad after all. Chu Ming and Cui Cheng managed to play their parts. I managed to teach my juniors how to play their parts. I managed to tune a Timpani. I managed to do a Timpani roll. I managed to play even the xylophone part (although not that perfect). I managed to account a member for every part.

So conclusion! Dazu today was a success (: And I think its a good way to start off my term as an SL. It could have been greater if Jun Lem was back in Singapore, and Lexus didn't have a stomachache at the last minute haha! XD

After dazu I saw Patrick's sms haha! He was at Bishan library mugging all along. =.= So me, Patrick, Zhaolin and Felix had lunch together before going off. After that I went to repair my handphone without any success at Suntec City. Then went to explore the Esplanade score library but didn't borrow anything in the end :O.

Time is ticking by minute by minute. Yet, I do not know what I am doing. I just wasted the past few days of my holidays, doing close to nothing meaningful.

New Percussion instructor supposed to come today, and I even went exceptionally early for that...and in the end not today come. Sectionals today they gave out SheRi scores at last. Patrick came for around half hour and gave me tips on the timpani part. I think I will only touch it again when the instructor comes.

The SheRi parts are not really difficult luh, I could get them right at a few tries, even the xylophone part haha. (: but perfect is far from just getting right. It requires hours and hours of practice.

Life is getting really really boring man. Once school reopens, there is DMP, then EOY. What the hell am I even doing?? Forget it forget. Just live on man. This saturday got Dazu haiz. Supposedly got two people joining Percussion again. Weird. So many people just join Perc like that. Some bring good to this section, while others simply smear the good name of our section, in other words, they are ponners.

My first day as SL has already given me an overview of the year I can expect ahead of me. Today only Lexus created some trouble over at Sheng/Suona. Attendance was ********. This type of attendance should NEVER occur again. And I hope Lexus learns his lesson this time.

Oh gosh! Concert is over! I have so much in my heart I want to say now... I don't know where to start but I will still say anyway!

Firstly, WELL DONE PERCUSSION! Our success is measured by how much we put in, and irregardless of what happened during the concert. No doubt we all screwed up here and there, but this isn't the point. Who doesn't screw up in a concert? Plus, as WenYun has mentioned on the Perc blog, it is the first concert for many of us. In fact all except two haha. So considering its the first it is VERY VERY WELL DONE ALREADY. It is okay to be disappointed, because we didn't exactly do well technically, but spiritually, I think we really made it. Disappointment is to motivate ourselves to go further, it is not about emoing or giving up on yourselves. We still have SYF next year and I guess we can take this concert as an experience, and if anything there is to take away, it would be to learn from our mistakes this concert. (:

I would also like to thank and apologize to a few people. THANK YOU PERCUSSION! THANK YOU MR NGOH! THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR ALL THE WELL WISHES! THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO CAME DOWN TO SUPPORT US!!!! and...at the same time, sorry Mr Ngoh, that we did not meet your expectations. You are a very hardworking and responsible instructor for all of us. Nearing the concert, you came for every Dazu to guide us, and made 100% sure that everyone had their scores and knew how to play. Thank you!

Patrick: Hey hey Patrick! I read through your little note many times haha. And thinking of the wonderful past year we had together, I am feeling really nostalgic. This is the first time I am performing together with you, and probably the last time too. Patrick, I am really grateful to you for all that you have taught me, all the hope you have given me, all the expectations you had of me...Without you, I wouldn't even have been able to perform for this concert. You are a wonderful senior, a wonderful friend, a wonderful CCA mate, and a wonderful schoolmate! I am sure many others would agree too! Whenever I needed someone to be there, you were always there. When my Chu Sai Qu dagu part needed serious help, you were patient with me and gave me tips and all that. When I wasn't feeling well just now, you helped me talk to Lim Si Hui...and there are so many many other instances that reflect just how much you have done for me. I know that many times, you do a lot of stuff that I do not know, which is for my own good. Yeah regarding what you mentioned in the note, I totally do not blame you at all, because I owe you just too much to even do so. Perhaps, many times, those things that happen are really my fault, in one way or another. Anyway, I hope that you will join RJCO Percussion so that we can still see each other, and perhaps it gives me a reason to join Perc in RJ haha. Zhaolin: Hello Zhaolin! You know what, you worked VERY HARD for the concert. Who could deny this fact? You did not let yourself down, you did not let anyone down. You were great, and brave. I am really glad to have you as a friend, and I have a lot and a lot of very happy memories of us doing all sorts of stuff together haha. Anyway, the concert is over, and so it is over. What day is tomorrow? It's the 31st of August!

I am very nervous now, and will be even more nervous tomorrow. I am sure all my fellow CO-mates are just as nervous as me now. Haha maybe some not as much.

One thing I want to say though, is that although Percussion is not yet perfect, BUT at least, we know how much work we have put in. Patrick, me, Jun Lem, Zhaolin, and even Chu Ming, have all put in time and effort over this year and whether or not we do well tomorrow, I am proud to have a section so united, so strong, and so resilient. Do not worry guys, just relax and try your best. Keep calm and you will make it. Even if you screw up, don't worry, just go on. What matters is not whether we screw up or not, but how much hard work we have put in for this one day. I have seen the improvement in commitment of our section, and I hope to keep it this way. Physics CCT and SS Essay tomorrow! And probably getting back Biology CCT and Math CCT. Concert coming up too. Then DMP, then EOYs.

Whatever man. I am taking it alright. (: Haha so in the end I still signed up for OIP, despite having to miss at least 4 CO pracs ):. Its a once in a lifetime opportunity, I can't miss it! ^^

Today went to help out at the RICO ticketing booth at the canteen. It was pathetic! I think we should put up a nice poster or something. There wasn't even a proper booth! It was table + chair + people + tickets. In the end we improvised with a piece of paper, a pen, and collecting leftover blutack from the walls.. =.= A lot of other CO friends came over to help too, saw Dong Heng, Jonathan, Jun Lem, etc.

Tomorrow I am gonna have a real nice time fixing the Bian Gu stands man. Let's save money for RICO and fix them. Don't buy new stands!!! Shall attempt red tape and superglue, but really really not confident in succeeding. Shall try nevertheless. If not....heehee RGCO Percussion watch out, we are gonna borrow some stands. :D

Sighs Mr Ngoh is leaving!! so sad right! T.T Just nice this Friday is teacher's day. I am gonna give him a present on Saturday (because won't be seeing him on Friday). RICOdjy has also made a card for him! (: I wonder how dajiyue life would be without Mr Ngoh. Don't dare to think. SYF coming next year..Patrick's not perfoming. Chu Ming came for practice today again, after officially coming back on Saturday. I am sure everyone is happy, especially me, to see Chu Ming back again. Let's motivate him to join us in bringing daji to greater heights! every member is valued and only if you are of value. I have been staying up until damn late these few days, everyday.

Being logistics OIC for concert isn't fun at all. But fun or not is one thing, do it well and be a responsible person or not, is another. Since LSH made me do it, I must do it. There shall be no complains. Yesterday whole day in front of the comp for at least 4 hours consecutively organizing the performers, helpers, and "ponners" list. Which took so so so long to finalise.

No I am not complaining. I am a member of RICO, and I am ready to offer service to my CCA anytime, anywhere. This is somewhere that gives me life. Somewhere that treats me like its very own. Somewhere that gave me happiness. Somewhere that teaches me stuff without ever saying no.

Its time to give it back.

Got back Progress Report today! Extremely happy with my GPA. Although not very high, but its a great improvement from the last PR. English got 3.2 OMG. My English never exceeded 2.8 before. Plus last PR it was 2.0.

There is much much more room for much much more improvement and I will continue to work hard. (:

Ahh Patrick broke his glasses today. He looks funny without specs xD. Hope he gets his new pair soon. Less than 3 dazus left before concert. Come on DJY let's march on!

The hectic school life starts yet again. Stayed up late to mug chem last night. HAHA today chem damn funny xD i stomach ache halfway have to go chiong to toilet! and i tell u it was record time ok~ never in my life did i settle my business that fast. before i went toilet i couldn't concentrate at all.. hahah in the end still managed to finish the paper. so proud of myself. :D

Hmm. I am considering joining HML club and career guidance club. maybe even science club if the teachers allow. I feel that my life is wayyy too boring. I need something new in my life to perk it up. Perhaps thats the reason why i am trying to join merit ccas.(: Wish me luck!

Haiz time passes really very fast. I remember when i was sec1 a PSL told me these few years will pass very fast one. true enough. now already sec3. very soon sec4...then j1 j2 NS. Half of my once-in-a-lifetime childhood is already up~.

Went for medical check-up today, following up from back pains. At 12 noon they took 4 tubes of my blood! But that was ok. I shall tell u about the second part of the check up. I was supposed to "fast" for six hours, so no lunch :( at around 5 I reached the clinic at Orchard. OMG they made me drink ONE LITRE of some funny chemical. Acid contraster they call it. Then the doctor injected another funny chemical into my veins which made me feel like there was fire burning inside me. For those who have gone for this test before yes it's CT test.

Results are going to be out on Monday. Hope everything's gonna be alright. EOYs coming I don't want to miss lessons and all that. And I finally finished reading ERP book haha. But now still have to write the essay. Sian... Today Olympics started! Haha my dad was so enthu and watched the opening ceremony from start to end. I watched a bit only. Tomorrow's national day btw. As citizens of this little red dot, do we watch the Olympics or NDP? xD think about it.

I have decided to redo my Chinese oral! Tong Ying Xian says can do "Cai Yi Biao Yan" also. So guess what. I am going to play Qin Wang Dian Bing together with Chu Ming next Thursday. If I don't get full marks my name isn't Li Wei.

concert is coming. more and more stressed. i bought new shoes today. my nike running shoes tore again. last time it was adidas. basketball comes at a price doesn't it? this time i just bought basketball shoes for good =.= 70% white. shud make it.

Roller coaster ride

Life is like taking a roller coaster ride. When you are down, you want to go up. You want to see the skies...you want to be high high up. But yet, you are afraid to be up there. Because when you fall from there, you fall real fast, and you fall real painfully.

Anyway I took like half the lesson to understand the concepts of vectors today. :( Why am I always the last to get any concept right...? But at least I got it in the end. Basketball again today. Boring day man.

There is this one person. My senior. Yes no doubt we are friends. But only today, do I realise how important this friend is to me.

Today he goes overseas for a few days, and immediately I feel a strong sense of reluctance for him to go. Thinking of the times we spend together, at CCA, at camp, in school...the jokes he tells me, the questions of concern he asks whenever I am down, the encouragement he gives me...

Although he keeps suaning me at times, but I know that as my senior, he has great expectations of me. I will not let him down. I will work hard. I will learn to be like him. I will learn from him.

so yes i was still saying nyco qinwangdianbing very pro yes. YUP! so today we had major reform during CO practice. patrick, jun lem and i, together with ideas from mr ngoh was all it took to turn our qinwangdianbing into some imba piece :)

my hands are damn pain. i played basketball in the rain with zhengda, tingwei, ryan and joel today. i won the ABC game haha :):) the floor was slippery and i fell. got wound on my hand. but still have to play the drums. cannot don't play. once i don't play i will lose out. cannot. tell myself cannot. i played so hard even my plaster came off.

yeah so we changed a lot of parts. i had to try very hard to get it right. haiz...concert is in around ONE month's time. can i make it?

tell myself can. CAN. i am going to practise hard. get the showy percussion stuff right. get my dazu pieces right. yup yup i believe i can do it =)

RGCO concert

Today went to RGCO concert :)

the concert was allocated seating and I sat with Patrick, and also with Li Yu, Yunfei and Jun Sean after the intermission. Saw Xinqi during intermission haha but didn't get to talk much.

i saw wanjing performing! she was quite nervous i could see. but well, who isn't nervous during concerts? and being nervous is good to a small extent :) it shows that you have worked hard.

haha and i never knew Wen Yun was Bing Liang's sister! well yeah she does look like bing liang quite a bit :D and amelia is so damn pro can. sec3 sl already!!!! i am so not joining RJCO in RJ =P

dazu today was great! :):):) i didn't screw up as much as i usually used to :D although still got a bit of screw ups but i will keep improving! zhaolin has stepped up levels in learning his xylo part too! :) Kweky was quite helpful and friendly today too~ chu sai qu is a hard but cool piece i think...the dagu part is awesome and i want to play it well.

went to RGS band concert with mengxia today. haha they played the percussion piece "technology" too. i don't know where i heard it once too, was it during dunman or swiss cottage CO concert? it would be really cool if RICO percussion could play it too~!

Today was a day with a mixture of feelings. First was the bio prac. dissected a fish! omg it smelled like a wet market i swear the bio lab was. i cut out the gill with the rakers! i never knew a fish had 8 gills in total. haha tingwei cut out the eye from the fish and put it on joel's worksheet. lol...gross :X at night went to nanyang CO concert....and i must say the percussion is impressive....the Qin Wang Dian Bing they played was like..omg so IMBA! the dynamics, layout.......nothing like RICO's qin wang dian bing. they even had powder like stuff on their drums to make it look like the dust is spreading as they hit the drums! the dynamics was perfect, from loud to soft and soft to loud....woah ours is like play same volume throughout. we must really work on our qinwangdianbing man. don't let those who come for RICO concert who also went to NYCO concert laugh at us...but i must say our synchronisation is a bit better..well, after all we have less people :S. 1,3,5 that makes 9! they have 1,2,8! omg. 11 people. ahhh...~~kena owned today la. nvm RICO percussion shall work hard and present the best for 31/8 concert! we can do it! =)

Today is a good day. Went for CO practice. reached bishan at 1pm sharp. Zhaolin said meet at 12.45 and when i reached at one he said he was at bugis. haiz. went to RI first. saw a lot of CO people in HML. ya la today got CO prac mar. finally at around 1.30 zhaolin reached HML. den we rushed to CO room in RJ. practice started at 2. i don't understand, RJCO has practice that day even before 1 and lasting after 5. so why does RICO has practice from 2-5? RICO and RJCO share the same room. how do we practise? Today only me, zhaolin, lexus, junlem, denny and stanley came. ohya zhenghung also. but everyone ZAO-ed. only me and zhaolin and lexus and jun lem stayed. we practised qinwang solo (not really a solo now that four people are playing =.=) lexus took my bag and ran away. i chased. at first supposed to perform for APCG campfire until 9pm. but patrick called me only when i reached school say performance cancelled! ARGH. made me so nervous for nothing. when practice ended i came up wif a good idea. i decided to return to my primary school! zhaolin wasn't too happy about that :P anyway yes we went to ACS Junior. Hai.....so reminiscent of primary school days. going to cry already. this is the place where i grew up...where i went to almost everyday for six years. nothing much changed. except chaoyang was renovated haha. i recognised the guard, and the receptionist. still the same!! now that i have stayed in RI for 2 1/2 years i find my primary school a bit small. VERY small. they told me they were changing campus next year. three times the size! wow. hahah anyway saw my chinese teacher in p6, Lai Lao shi. she was happy to see me! we talked for very long, talk about ACS Junior, talk about RI. haha a lot to talk about. other teachers i would have loved to see were either retired, or went home already :( after that zhaolin and I went newton hawker center and ate oyster omelete. haha. den i brought him to my house and we played basketball! zhaolin decided to do his soccer kick which landed my precious ball into the bushes. it was around 8.30 already. so guess what! after taking like almost 20 photos (we made use of handphone camera flash) we finally spotted the ball!! haha hilarious day la. and now i am back at home. tired for the day. :)

First post in the first day of the only week of the APCG week holidays. Holidays with two English compres, two Chinese compres, around 10 pages worth of chemistry, mugging for Chinese CCT, mugging for Chem OBA and practical test. Not that bad la? Anyway the feeling of blogging is really cool i just found out. Though there may be no one reading through my blog, but at least i can express myself and record my thoughts? it is just like speaking to oneself, but yeah the difference is that your thoughts are being recorded in history. Life is never fair is it? family, school, cca... no matter where you go, there is bound to be injustice. But then again, what is life if everything is fair and square? why work so hard? why hope that you will continue living to see the sun rise again the next day? life isn't fair and we all know that. no one to blame either. but then, that isn't the point. just work hard, do what you are supposed to do. and although no one may recognize all the work you have contributed to the human race, at least you tell yourself: you have done it. and who knows? maybe because of that one day you might find the world so fair again. Never complain when something is not fair, because you never know when you are going to be the one who isn't being fair to others. it is a cycle, and a balance. haha today was quite a good day :) at first i thought CO prac from 2-5 was going to kill this day away again...but no! see? thats how unexpectable life is. i had lunch with zhaolin, and it was damn funny ok. we walked two rounds in the food court before finally deciding to eat japanese food. costed? $$$5.80. wow. inflation again i guess. ha! and then was the 7 eleven thing. i decided to try out the $1.20 hot chocolate thingy. hot chocolate means it is HOT. there is the instruction "release the dispense button when cup is around 3/4 full". but of course being the me i am i only released when it was filled to the brim. surprisingly though it didn't overflow! the creamy stuff just sorta piled out over the brim. wow? over filled and hot somemore. how to hold right? so i carefully carry it to my mouth there and sip a bit so that the level is just nice. HOT! and dear zhaolin at one side, seeing my plight, asked out of concern " is it hot? ". (OF COURSE IT IS HOT). Hot chocolate hello. few seconds was what it took both of us to realise what a stupid question that was =.=. but i couldn't laugh. once i laughed, there would have gone my chocolate drink, and perhaps me and zhaolin's uniforms. so i stifled my laughter. put the drink back cautiously. AND LAUGHED! me and zhaolin were like laugh until no sound that kinda laugh. yup, right inside the small small RJ 7 eleven. lucky it wasn't the attitude problem one that was at the counter. if not we would have got a scolding =.= cca later on was fun. mr ngoh today suddenly very nice dunno why. he used to call us "the guy there" or "the guy that plays tambourine". but he actually called our names this time! what got into him i dunno. but its good :) yeah i didn't screw up in laifoshi or jinsenianhua, which is also good :):):) tambourine is such a nice instrument rite! plus zhaolin was starting to grasp the xylophone part well. grr always forget which piece his xylophone part is for. haha zhaolin is now the sec 3 king of xylophone :D yupyup and mr ngoh finally relented and taught me the solo part of qinwangdianbing! awesome. today only jun lem, zhaolin, zheng hung and me went training. scholars came at around 4? stanley manly and denny friendly came haha. stanley as usual so steady with his cymbals, and denny with the drum set. the rest ponned. yonathan was there too if i didn't remember wrongly. hahah i shall put a full stop to all my crap now, forgive me coz this is my first post.
